Election Day is on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Polls are open from 6:30am to 7:30pm.
All voters must bring identification to the polls in order to cast a regular ballot on Election Day.

Yes, all Ohio voters can vote early by mail with an absentee ballot. You can request an absentee ballot by filling out the online form, printing it, signing it, and returning it to:

You can also request your absentee ballot by mail in person at the Board of Elections, public libraries, high schools, public offices, and license bureaus by filling out the application there.
What’s the deadline to return my absentee ballot?
By U.S. Mail: Ballots post-marked the day before the Election will be counted if received by the Board of Elections up to 10 days following the election. (Overseas ballots can be postmarked on Election Day).
In Person, either by you or an eligible family member: Your completed ballot must be delivered to the Board of Elections office no later than 7:30 p.m. on May 6 – Election Day. Absentee ballots cannot be returned to your regular polling location on Election Day.
Yes. You can walk in starting April 8, request your absentee ballot, and vote in person – in the same visit.
