Groveport Madison Schools are at a critical turning point. Enrollment is growing, our facilities are outdated, and we must act now to ensure every student has the space and resources they need to succeed. That’s why the Board of Education has placed Bond Issue 24 on the May 6 ballot—an investment in our schools, our students, and our community’s future.
What Will Bond Issue 24 Do?
By voting FOR Bond Issue #24, we will secure $77.2 million in local funding to:
- Build three brand-new middle schools to replace Central, North, and South
- Expand Groveport Madison High School to accommodate more students
- Modernize learning spaces for better education and student success
- Reduce overcrowding in elementary schools by shifting 5th grade to middle school
And here’s the best part: The state is offering $71.4 million to help fund this project—covering more than half the cost! But we only get this funding if we pass Bond Issue 24. If we don’t act, this opportunity will be lost, and our schools will continue to struggle with overcrowding and outdated facilities.
Why This Matters
💡 Growing Enrollment Needs: Our student population continues to rise. Without action, overcrowded classrooms will make learning more difficult.
💡 A Smart Investment: This is Phase 2 of our Master Facilities Plan, a carefully designed, cost-effective approach to modernizing our schools.
💡 A Stronger Community: Quality schools boost property values and make Groveport Madison a more desirable place to live and work.
Our kids deserve better, and our community deserves progress. Let’s take advantage of this state funding and build the schools our students need!
Vote FOR Bond Issue 24 on May 6!
Together, we can create a brighter future for Groveport Madison Schools.
