I am supporting Issue 7, because my children deserve to go to premier schools in the Greater Columbus Area. We are working toward that goal and I feel a failure of Issue 7 will be a huge setback in attaining the goal.  – Teresa Wolford

——————————————–

Issue 7 is important for our community, our children, our schools. Not only do our children continue to receive an education that gives them a better chance in the future, but it also gives them the opportunity to participate in band, theatre, sports and other extracurricular activities that could be lost if the replacement levy fails. As a parent of two children in the gifted program, which is one of the programs that could be eliminated, I want both my kids to get the education appropriate for their learning abilities. I have a band student, a theatre student, a choir student….AP classes, honors classes….I don’t want to lose any of these opportunities for them. We passed the levy and bond issue in 2014 to have new high school and raise the quality of education for our children, it’s our duty to allow those benefits to continue. Thank you.  – Maria Swonger

——————————————–

The academics in our district have improved dramatically in the five years since the current operating levy was passed. This is evident in standardized test scores, graduation rates, course offerings and the amount of counseling and social-emotional resources available to our students. By passing Issue 7 we would allow this growth to continue for the next five years. This levy impacts our school report card and property values. Most importantly, it allows students to have opportunities that won’t be available if this levy doesn’t pass. For no additional taxes we can continue to help students reach their goals and dreams. Please vote for our children. Vote yes on Issue 7.  – Chris Mosure
